The journal implements reliable digital archiving strategies and supports open access principles to guarantee that published articles remain permanently available to the global scientific community.

1. Digital Preservation Commitment

The journal ensures that all published articles are preserved in secure and sustainable digital environments to prevent data loss and maintain long-term accessibility.

2. Archiving Systems

To support long-term preservation, the journal utilizes recognized archiving systems, including:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), which provides decentralized and distributed preservation across multiple libraries
  • CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS), ensuring permanent archiving even in cases of journal discontinuation
  • Institutional and national repository systems

These systems ensure redundancy and reliability in preserving journal content.

The journal encourages authors to deposit their manuscripts in institutional or subject-based repositories. Authors may also share their work on personal or academic platforms, provided that proper citation to the original publication is included.

4. Open Access and Accessibility

All archived content is openly accessible without restriction under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, supporting the free exchange of scientific knowledge.

5. Metadata and Indexing

To enhance discoverability and accessibility, all articles are:

  • Assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI)
  • Indexed in relevant academic databases
  • Equipped with standardized and interoperable metadata

6. Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted to archive different versions of their manuscripts as follows:

  • Preprint (submitted version): may be shared at any time
  • Postprint (accepted version): may be shared after acceptance
  • Version of Record (published version): may be shared immediately after publication

No embargo period is applied.
