Author Guidelines
1. General Requirements
Agrofera: Agronomical Journal publishes high-quality research articles, review papers, and case studies in the field of agronomy and agricultural sciences.
Submitted manuscripts must be:
- Original and not previously published
- Not under consideration in any other journal
- Written in clear and concise English
- Relevant to the scope of agronomy and sustainable agriculture
2. Types of Manuscripts
The journal accepts:
- Original Research Articles
- Review Articles (systematic or critical reviews)
- Short Communications (brief reports of significant findings)
3. Manuscript Structure (IMRAD Format)
a. Title
- Concise, informative, and not more than 20 words
- Avoid abbreviations
b. Author Information
- Full names of all authors
- Institutional affiliations
- Corresponding author email
c. Abstract
- 150–250 words
- Clearly state: background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions
- Avoid citations
d. Keywords
- 3–5 keywords
- Separated by semicolons (;)
e. Introduction
- Background and research context
- State of the art and research gap
- Clear objectives of the study
f. Materials and Methods
- Detailed and reproducible methodology
- Include location, design, and analysis methods
g. Results
- Present clear findings supported by tables or figures
h. Discussion
- Interpret results and compare with previous studies
- Highlight novelty and scientific contribution
i. Conclusion
- Concise summary of findings
- Implications and recommendations
j. Acknowledgments

k. References
- Use APA 7th Edition style
- Minimum 15 references
- At least 80% from recent (last 10 years) international journals
4. Formatting Guidelines
- File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
- Spacing: 1.5
- Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
- Length: 5,000–8,000 words
5. Tables and Figures
- Must be numbered sequentially
- Provide clear titles and sources
- Use high-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi)
6. Citation and Reference Style
Use APA 7th Edition.

7. Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online system (OJS).
Authors must ensure all metadata is complete before submission.
8. Peer Review Process
All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
9. Publication Ethics
Authors must follow ethical standards as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
10. Plagiarism Policy
All submissions will be screened using plagiarism detection tools.
Maximum similarity index: 20% (excluding references).
