Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya peningkatan kualitas pertumbuhan dan pembungaan anggrek Phalaenopsis dalam sistem kultur In Vitro sebagai upaya mendukung produksi bibit secara massal dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh aplikasi biostimulan berbasis ekstrak rumput laut terhadap pertumbuhan, kandungan klorofil, dan induksi pembungaan planlet anggrek. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor berupa konsentrasi biostimulan (0–8 ml/L). Data dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan terhadap Indeks Vigor Planlet (PVI), kandungan klorofil total, dan Indeks Induksi Pembungaan (FII), serta dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan uji lanjut DMRT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi biostimulan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap seluruh parameter yang diamati, dengan konsentrasi optimum pada 6 ml/L. Peningkatan pertumbuhan dan pembungaan diduga terkait dengan kandungan hormon tumbuh dan unsur hara dalam ekstrak rumput laut yang meningkatkan aktivitas fisiologis tanaman. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam pengembangan pendekatan multi-parameter untuk evaluasi pertumbuhan tanaman, serta kontribusi praktis dalam optimalisasi produksi bibit anggrek melalui kultur jaringan.
