Archiving Policy

CONSERVARE: Journal of Agricultural Knowledge is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and usability of all published scholarly content. The journal recognizes that permanent access to the scientific record is essential for the advancement of research and the dissemination of agricultural knowledge. To safeguard its published articles against accidental loss or technological obsolescence, the journal implements reliable digital archiving and preservation practices.

The journal is managed using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which supports the PKP for long-term digital preservation. Through this preservation service, published articles are securely archived in a distributed preservation network, ensuring that the journal's content remains accessible even in the event of technical failures or discontinuation of the journal website. The journal also encourages authors to deposit the published Version of Record in institutional repositories, subject repositories, and other trusted digital archives, provided that appropriate citation to the original publication is maintained.

In addition to digital preservation through the PKP Preservation Network, CONSERVARE: Journal of Agricultural Knowledge maintains routine backups of its journal database and published files to enhance data security and facilitate content recovery when necessary. The journal is committed to continuously improving its preservation strategy by adopting internationally recognized archiving standards and technologies, thereby ensuring the permanent availability, integrity, and discoverability of its published scholarly works for future generations.
