Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to CONSERVARE: Journal of Agricultural Knowledge undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, original, and scientifically sound research. Upon submission, each manuscript is first evaluated by the Editorial Office to verify its conformity with the journal's scope, manuscript preparation requirements, ethical standards, and originality. Manuscripts that do not meet these initial criteria may be returned to the authors for revision or declined without external review.
Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening are assigned to an Academic Editor and reviewed by at least two independent experts with relevant expertise in the subject area. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process to maintain fairness, objectivity, and impartiality. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, scientific significance, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, validity of results, and contribution to the advancement of agricultural knowledge. They provide constructive comments and recommendations to assist both the authors and the editors in reaching an informed editorial decision.
Based on the reviewers' reports, the Editor-in-Chief or the assigned Academic Editor makes one of the following decisions: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject. Authors receiving revision requests are expected to submit a revised manuscript accompanied by a detailed response addressing each reviewer comment. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation when necessary. The final publication decision rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief, whose decision is made independently and in accordance with the journal's editorial policies, publication ethics, and commitment to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record.
