Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools Usage Policy

SPATIA: Educational Journal recognizes the growing use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in academic writing and research. Authors may use AI-assisted technologies to improve language, grammar, readability, or formatting of their manuscripts. However, authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and scientific content of their work.

AI tools must not be listed as authors or co-authors, as they cannot assume responsibility for the content, declare conflicts of interest, or fulfill the requirements of authorship. Where AI tools have been used in the preparation of a manuscript, authors should disclose their use in the appropriate section of the manuscript and clearly describe the purpose for which the tool was used.

The use of AI to generate, fabricate, manipulate, or falsify research data, images, results, citations, or any other scholarly content is strictly prohibited. The Editorial Board reserves the right to evaluate the appropriate use of AI tools and may request additional information from authors when necessary. Manuscripts found to violate the journal's publication ethics or AI policy may be rejected or withdrawn in accordance with the journal's editorial procedures.
