Publication Ethic

SPATIA: Educational Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. The journal adheres to the principles and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the Regulation of the Head of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications in Indonesia. These ethical standards guide all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

Authors are expected to submit original work, properly acknowledge all sources, avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, and other forms of academic misconduct. Editors are responsible for making impartial editorial decisions based solely on the scholarly merit of manuscripts while maintaining confidentiality and managing potential conflicts of interest. Reviewers are required to conduct objective, confidential, and constructive evaluations and to disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect their judgment.

The journal is committed to promoting transparency, fairness, accountability, and integrity throughout the editorial and publication process. Any allegations of research or publication misconduct will be investigated and handled in accordance with COPE guidelines and applicable Indonesian regulations. Where ethical violations are confirmed, the journal may take appropriate actions, including manuscript rejection, publication of corrections, article retraction, or other necessary measures to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
