Author Guidelines

General Information

RUMPHII: Biological Science Journal welcomes the submission of original research articles, review articles, and short communications in all areas of biological sciences. Manuscripts must present original work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Authors are encouraged to ensure that their manuscripts are scientifically rigorous, clearly written, and prepared in accordance with the journal's formatting requirements before submission.

  • Paper size: A4

References

References should follow the APA 7th Edition citation style. Authors are encouraged to use recent and relevant literature, particularly articles published within the last ten years. Whenever available, Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) should be included.

The use of reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote is strongly recommended.

Ethical Considerations

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their research complies with accepted ethical standards.

For studies involving humans or animals, authors must state that appropriate ethical approval has been obtained from the relevant institutional ethics committee and that applicable international guidelines have been followed.

Authors must also disclose any potential conflicts of interest and acknowledge all sources of financial support.

Plagiarism Policy

Submitted manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review process. Manuscripts containing substantial plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical publication practices will be rejected.

Proper citation and attribution of all sources are the responsibility of the authors.

Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's Online Journal System (OJS). Authors should complete all required metadata during submission, including author information, abstract, keywords, and references.

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have approved the final version of the manuscript prior to submission.

Peer Review

All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine their suitability for the journal. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process by at least two independent reviewers.

Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer comments. Acceptance is based on scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal's scope.

Open Access and Copyright

All published articles are freely available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right of first publication. Published articles may be shared, reproduced, distributed, and adapted provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the journal.
